Faculty and staff and their spouses, domestic partners, family members, and guests receive a variety of library privileges as a benefit of employment at the University and can take advantage of reciprocal agreements with other university libraries.
You must be in the payroll/personnel database in order to get a Library Card, which allows you library privileges. This process can take up to two weeks from your start date. In the interim, Humanities Administrative Services can provide new faculty to the division with a letter of introduction to the library, if borrowing privileges are needed before the employee i.d. is issued.
